Mrs. Sarah Messing most recently served as Vicariate 3 Liaison and Coordinator of Youth &Young Adult Ministries for the Diocese of Saginaw. Prior to working at the Diocese she was a middle/high school math teacher at Reese Public Schools for 18 years, as well as a high school assistant principal, junior varsity girls basketball coach and has served on both the Reese middle and high school leadership teams. She holds a BS with certification in Secondary Education and MA degree in instructional technology from Saginaw Valley State University. Mrs. Messing, her husband Kerry, and their three children (Luke, Jack and Abigail), are active members of St. Elizabeth of Hungary Parish. Mrs. Messing has served
on St. Elizabeth’s parish, finance and stewardship committees and attended St. Elizabeth Area Catholic School.
When asked about her new role, Mrs. Messing shared, “Nouvel Catholic Central High School has a deep history
of excellence in academics, athletics, arts and in deepening and sharing of our faith. I am so thankful for this
opportunity to combine my nearly 20 years' experience in education with my Catholic faith. I look forward to
cultivating relationships with our faculty, students, parents, and our entire Nouvel family. This is an exciting and
pivotal time, and I do believe God has created us for this moment. Together let us learn, love, and lead.”
