Mrs. Jeanne Gilbert has a B.S. degree in Theater from Illinois State University, a B.S. degree in Radio and Television from Southern Illinois State University, a teaching certificate in speech, English and theater from University of Michigan-Flint and a Master of Fine Arts in Acting-Directing from Southern Illinois University. She is a lifetime advocate of the performing arts and has been active in the Michigan Speech Coaches Association, National Thespians and the Michigan Interscholastic Forensic Association, where she received Teacher of the Year and winner of 19 state championships for the competitive theatre program. Mrs. Gilbert was previously retired after teaching theater, speech, English and film literature for the Bangor Township Schools.
Mrs. Gilbert lives in Bay City with her husband, Jack. They have 3 talented and very kind children, and one adorable grandson, George.
