Freshman, Jacob Alexander has been recognized as the Nouvel Catholic Central Student of the Month for November.
Jacob lives in Freeland and is the son of Andrew & Janet Alexander. He was nominated by Social Studies instructor, Peter Bartels, for his positive impact and getting involved. “Jacob is a friendly and outgoing student, who is excelling both inside and outside the classroom,” says Bartels. “He transitioned to Nouvel this year and has wasted no time getting involved. Making the adjustment to a new school is never easy, but Jacob has made friends fast and gets along well with his teachers and peers,” continued Bartels.
Jacob participates in cross-country and has set personal records for the varsity team. He also reads during Mass and volunteers as an altar server. He plans to play basketball and run track in the spring. Jacob’s favorite classes are history and science and he attends St. Agnes church in Freeland.
