Congratulations to our Volunteer of the Week, volunteer librarian, Mrs. Michelle Gorzela (Mrs. G.). In addition to her full-time job serving as a nurse, for the past four years Mrs. G. has volunteered her time as our Elementary and Middle School librarian.

It's no surprise that in her role as a librarian, Mrs. G. does not have a favorite book because "there are just too many good ones to choose from". However, her favorite Saint is Saint Jerome, who is the Patron Saint of Librarians.  

Her proudest moments are "when a child tells me that the book I suggested was great and they can't wait to finish it." 

She is inspired when a struggling reader finds joy in a new book series. 

Mrs. G. and her family are members at St. Thomas Aquinas Parish.
