Congratulations to Mrs. Molly Borges, our Nouvel Teacher of the Week. This is Mrs. Borges 12th year of teaching. She spent the first 10 years teaching Young Fives and moved over to Kindergarten last year.

Mrs. Borges' favorite Patron Saint is Saint Elizabeth Ann Seton and her favorite book is "The Very Hungry Caterpillar".  

When asked about what she is inspired by, Mrs. Borges shared, "my 3rd grade teacher at St. Stephen's - Mrs. Nash. She was absolutely fabulous and is the reason I wanted to become a teacher. Her care for her students both inside and outside of class was admirable. I was in a pretty bad car accident in 3rd grade - in the hospital for a week and home for 3 weeks after that. Mrs. Nash came up to the hospital every day to see me and bring me homework and activities. Once I was home, she came by once a week to bring me fun things to do. She truly cared about her students and I wanted to be like her."
