Congratulations to Mrs. Ellen Burtch, our Nouvel Teacher of the Week. Mrs. Burtch has been teaching in our Catholic school system for the past 12 years.

It is no surprise that Mrs. Burtch's favorite Saint is Saint Cecelia, the Patron Saint of music. Her favorite saying comes from Victor Hugo, "Music expresses that which cannot be said and on which it is impossible to be silent".

Mrs. Burtch shared that her proudest teaching moment was when all the 5th through high school students performed a piece together on the Temple Theatre stage for their Spring Concert. "It was truly spectacular," shared Mrs. Burtch.
