Nouvel Catholic Central is proud to announce that 2 of our seniors, John Budd and Brady Vance have been named a Commended Student in the 2025 National Merit Scholarship Program. A Letter of Commendation from the school and National Merit Scholarship Corporation, which conducts the program, was presented by Principal Marciniak this morning.About 34,000 students are honored as Commended Students, being recognized for their exceptional academic promise. Although they will not continue in the 2025 competition for National Merit Scholarship awards, Commended Students are placed among the top 50,000 students who entered the 2025 competition by taking the 2023 Preliminary SAT (PSAT).John is the son of Steve and Jamie Budd, and Brady the son of Steve and Sara Vance. Both are scholar-athletes and serve on student government, are members of National Honor Society, Honor Guard and many other extra-curriculars at Nouvel.Congratulations, John & Brady!
