On Thursday, February 28, our Nouvel Catholic Central Junior Class spent their morning serving their community. Led by Mrs. Jacqmain and Mrs. Kojak, the students volunteered with the Saginaw YMCA, United Way of Saginaw County and Food Bank of Eastern Michigan packing meals for community members in need. The students worked alongside community volunteers, outside at the YMCA, assembling nearly 200 meal packages.
"Serving is such an important thing because we talk about how important it is to live out our faith by giving back to those in need, and getting out and getting involved allows our students to lead by example," shared Mrs. Jacqmain.
