Geraldine LeFevre is a pillar in the Nouvel Catholic Central Community. She is a devout Catholic and a strong supporter of Catholic education. She is the mother of seven children who attended St. Stephens in Saginaw. She has 35 grandchildren, 23 of whom graduated from NCC, three currently attend NCC. She has 38 great grandchildren (with 5 on the way). All great grandchildren that are school age attend Catholic schools, with 8 at NCCE/MS.
Not only does she support NCC, she is an avid Nouvel Sports Booster. Of her grandchildren that attending Nouvel, they have earned 10 state championships. She started the St. Stephen girls swim team, Nouvel bowling team and helped the band receive new uniforms.
Throughout her 90 years, she has been on numerous Catholic committees and Board of Directors, including Ave Maria College. She has a scholarship with the Catholic Community Foundation of Mid-Michigan that supports students attending a Catholic college. She and her late husband Len are members of the Catholic School's Hall of Fame.
She recently celebrated her 90th birthday and we look forward to continuing to see her at NCC events.

We are excited to announce that Nouvel Catholic Central homecoming activities will take place on Friday, September 23, 2022. This year the student government members have selected the theme of Blockbuster Movies. Please see the information below for more details regarding our week-long celebration of current and past Nouvel Catholic Central and Saginaw Area Catholic Schools students.
Spirit Week:
Starting Monday, September 19 there will be special theme days for staff and students to participate in. Please note, Friday, September 23 is a half day for all students. Preschool students will be dismissed at 11 a.m. with NCCE/MS dismissal at 11:30 a.m. and NCCHS dismissal at 11:55 a.m.
Homecoming Parade:
By popular demand, we will be hosting a community parade with an updated route this year. The parade will begin at the Elementary/Middle School Campus and conclude at the High School Campus, near the Athletic Complex. Students, student groups, local businesses and community members are encouraged to be part of the parade. We ask all interested participants to submit a parade entry (form listed below) by Friday, September 16. The official parade route can be found here.
It is with great excitement that we share the 2022 grand marshal for the homecoming parade will be longtime Catholic school supporter, Mrs. Geraldine (Gerry) LeFevre. We look forward to Mrs. LeFevre leading the parade and being honored on the football field prior to kick-off.
Alumni Admittance:
As a way to recognize our outstanding alumni, we are proudly offering complimentary admittance to the football game as well as the opportunity to win an alumni prize package. Please check-in at the alumni table, located next to the general admittance.
Nouvel Community Tent:
Thanks to generous Nouvel supporters, it is our pleasure to announce there will be a Nouvel Catholic Central Community Tent from 5 to 7 p.m. for all Nouvel students, families and alumni. Complimentary food and beverages will be provided beginning at 5:30 p.m.
Football Game:
The varsity boys’ football team will kick-off against the St. Louis Sharks at 7 p.m. on Boyd Field. The Panther Marching Band will lead us in a pre-game performance at 6:50 p.m. Concession items will be available.
Dance:
A traditional high school homecoming dance will be held on Saturday, September 24 from 8:30 to 10 p.m. in the Nouvel Catholic Central High School courtyard/cafeteria. Students should enter through the Northwest stairwell doors.
A special thank you to the planning committee, home and school representatives on both campuses and the high school class advisors who are instrumental in helping make this a special weeklong event for our students and the Nouvel Catholic Central community. We look forward to celebrating with our families as well as current and former students.
