We are proud to announce that Mrs. Mary Beth Looby will serve as our 2024 Grand Marshal for the homecoming parade. Mrs. Looby is a St. Mary’s High School alumna, as is her husband, John. She serves on the Saginaw Diocesan School Council and chairs the alumni committee. She and John are proud Nouvel grandparents of fifth generation Catholic school students.
Mary Beth graduated from Nazareth, a Catholic college, and taught at St. Peter & Paul (now Nouvel) before going on to teach at Delta College, where she received the Scholarly Achievement and Dr. Martin Luther King awards. In 2009 she was named the Michigan US Professor of the Year by the Carnegie and CASE Foundations.
We are grateful to Mrs. Looby for her long-standing commitment to Catholic education.
