Our faith is at the center of all we do both inside and outside of the classroom. Students are offered a rich faith foundation, leadership and service experiences that empowers them to live out their Catholic faith as disciples of Jesus by loving God and neighbor.

- School begins and ends with daily prayer.
- Weekly Mass is celebrated each Thursday for staff, students and parents at St. Thomas Aquinas Church.
- Each grade, as part of their religion curriculum, enjoys special projects to celebrate our faith. For example, in preparation for All Saints Day, each 5th grade student researches the life of a saint. On All Saints Day, the children, in costume, are part of a saints museum where visitors can listen to each saint’s life story.
- Students in all grades are taught the Divine Mercy Chaplet and the school participates in a prayer services throughout the year.
- In May, our second grade students honor the Blessed Mother with May crowning.
Faith Leadership and Practices
- Students help plan and participate in the weekly liturgies by lectoring, ushering, altar serving and singing in the choir.
- Students in Preschool - Grade 2 participate in the Catechesis of the Good Shepherd which follows Sophia Cavalletti's work with children in the area of children's religious formation. We share her belief that God and the child have a unique relationship with one another and, though the growth of this relationship is directed by the Spirit of God within the child, should be assisted by an adult.
- Students participate in service programs specific to their grade.
- Students are given the opportunity to participate in school-wide service projects that support various organizations including Eastside Soup Kitchen, Project Christmas Child, YMCA, Underground Railroad, Emmaus House, National Disasters and Christmas giving programs.
- Social justices issues are discussed in the classrooms.
