Congratulations to our Nouvel Teacher of the Week, Mrs. Angie Hilburn. Mrs. Hilburn teaches 3rd grade. She is in her 5th year teaching at Nouvel and in her 30th year in education.

Mrs. Hilburn looks forward to reading two of her favorite books to her class each year, "The True Story of the 3 Little Pigs" and "The Little Old Lady Who Wasn't Afraid of Anything." Her favorite Saint is Our Lady of Guadalupe.

Mrs. Hilburn's favorite saying is, "the difference between ordinary and extraordinary is that little extra".

One of her proudest teaching moments was her first class Mass at Nouvel. Mrs. Hilburn shared, "my heart was filled with pride as my students read, sang and celebrated the Mass. As a retired public school teacher, it was a dream come true. What made it even more special was that my granddaughter was also new to Nouvel and was part of my class."
