Senior, Cecilia Gross has been recognized as the Nouvel Catholic Central October Student of the Month.

Cecilia is the daugther of Charles and Kristeen Gross of Chesaning. She was nominated for her willingness to volunteer, go the extra mile and pursue difficult challenges with great enthusiasm. "Cecilia is a leader and captain on the Corss Country team, inspiring others by being determined to improve her times and give her all in every practice and meet," said Pete Bartels, NCC coach and teacher. "She is one of the most consistently cheerful and unfailingly positive people you will meet. She is generous, thoughtful, kind and patient towards teammates and classmates. She does extra service and puts others first," added Bartels.

Cecilia is involved in Cross Country, Track and Band. She is also a member and servces as an officer in 4H and NHS. Her favorite class has been zoology and in her spare time, she trains service dogs.
