Congratulations to Amy Tawadros for being selected as the junior high student of the month for November. Amy is a 7th grader and her parents are Yousif and Nancy Tawadros. They belong to St. Mina and Pope Kyrillos VI Coptic Orthodox Church, where she volunteers to read or cantor, and is in the choir. Amy has been a Panther since 4th grade. She was nominated by Mr. Bartels, her theology teacher, who shared, “Amy is a student you can count on. She sets a great example by working hard and being patient, kind and thoughtful.” Her favorite classes are ELA and musical theater. Amy said her favorite things about junior high are having more freedom and choices, plus changing classes each hour. She participates in theater and volleyball, and is a Chief Science Officer and Panther Student Ambassador. Congratulations, Amy!
