Congratulations to our Nouvel Teacher of the Week, Mrs. Mary Albers. Mrs. Albers teaches our second grade students and is in her fifth year teaching at Nouvel. 

Mrs. Albers shared that she is inspired by "the ah-ha moments, the opportunity to make a difference in a child's life, and being able to grow in faith with my students."

Her favorite Saint is Saint Rita of Cascia, the Saint of impossible dreams or impossible causes. "Just trust in God," is Mrs. Albers favorite saying.

Two proud teaching moments stick out to Mrs. Albers, "when a parent thanked me for being the caring, nurturing adult in her daughter's life at a time when she was unable to be there for her and when a student came and visited me years later and told me that I was the reason they became a teacher."
