Congratulations to our Nouvel Teacher of the Week, Mrs. Lynda Gibson. Mrs. Gibson teaches our traditional preschool program and is in her 10th year teaching at Nouvel. She has been teaching in the Catholic schools for 30 years!

Mrs. Gibson has a large collection of children's books and credits Pete the Cat books as some of her favorites. Her favorite Saint is Saint Teresa of Calcutta and her favorite saying is "With God all things are possible".

When asked about her proudest teaching moment, Mrs. Gibson shared, "There is not one particular moment that made me proud, but collectively the many small moments. Seeing the smile on a child's face as they overcome fear or anxiety, or speak for the first time after being nonverbal. Hearing a child say they love coming to school - these are the best moments for me".
