Based upon the MHSAA announcement at 2:30 p.m. on August 20, Boys Soccer and Girls Volleyball are not permitted to engage in game competition indoors or outdoors in Regions 1-5 & 7 until there is an update of the current Executive Order(s) by the governor’s office. Nouvel, and each of our surrounding Saginaw/Bay/Midland counties, is located in Region 4. Outdoor practices can continue, and each program leader (Varsity Head Coach) of each affected sport will determine how to proceed.
Nouvel is now in the process of exploring the option of immediately starting a Girls Golf team. Any NCCHS student interested is asked to contact the Athletic Office. Pom Pon and Cross Country are still accepting players who may be affected by today’s MHSAA announcement.
