Senior, Emily Kalinowski has been recognized as the Nouvel Catholic Central Student of the Month for May.
Emily lives in Freeland and is the daughter of Amy and Matthew Kalinowski. She was nominated for being caring, honest, outgoing and inclusive of others. “Emily is intelligent, caring and honest,” said Assistant Principal, Randy Kreger. “When Emily graduates this Spring, her presence will be greatly missed as she brightens up the hallways at NCCHS,” added Kreger.
Emily is involved in 4H, Great Lakes Bay Regional Youth Leadership Institute and works part-time as a hostess. Her favorite class at NCCHS is newspaper. She attends St. John XXIII Parish in Hemlock. After graduation, she plans to attend Northwood University to major in Marketing and Merchandising.
