Dear Nouvel Catholic Central Families,

A significant portion of our staff and faculty are scheduled to receive the second distribution of the COVID-19 vaccine on Thursday, February 11.  Medical evidence suggests that reactions to the second dose tend to me more severe than the first.  Due to concerns related to possible reactions to the vaccine and a severely limited pool of substitute teachers, Friday February 12 will be a day of virtual learning for all students (Pre-12).  The elementary and middle school is scheduled for a half day on 2/12/21 and the high school is scheduled for a full day of instruction.  The degree of instruction will reflect the respective building schedule.  Specific instructions related to instruction will be shared next week.       

Teachers will have pre-recorded videos available online to support student learning on February 12.  Any related documents will be distributed to students next Wednesday or Thursday.  Copies will also be made available online.
