Congratulations to Riley Mattheis, class of 2024 for being selected as the NCCHS December student of the month. Riley is the daughter of Brian and Michelle Mattheis. Her parish is St. Thomas Aquinas. She was nominated by Ms. Wagner, who shared, “Riley is a leader inside and outside the classroom, and is encouraging to her peers daily.” She has participated in basketball, band, Science Olympiad, and is a Chief Science Officer (CSO) representing Nouvel with the Great Lakes Bay Region CSOs. Riley also helped create the STEM club and the book club. She works as a lifeguard and her favorite class is Chemistry.
