Congratulations to John Budd, class of 2025, for being selected as student of the month for December. John is the son of Steve and Jaime Budd and lives in Freeland. Their home Parish is Cathedral of Mary of the Assumption. He was nominated by Principal Marciniak, who shared, “John lives the Nouvel mission on a daily basis. He is an excellent student who challenges himself academically and is a stellar example of service. Whether helping with the morning announcements, altar serving at Mass or just sharing kindness toward others, he doesn’t do any of this for attention but because it’s the right thing to do.” John plays soccer and basketball and participates in Science Olympiad, Quiz Bowl and NHS. He is involved in altar serving at his parish and works at his family’s business, Main St. Gifts. His favorite class is engineering.
