To customize your learning experiences, you are able to choose which elective coursework you would like to participate in. In addition to elective offerings, each student will be scheduled for the following coursework:

Please note that 8th grade students who qualify for and elect to enroll in Algebra I (high school level) will be limited in their elective offerings to Digital Media and Creative Writing under Elective Choice #1.

NEW - Health (High School level) Health Education is a graduation requirement for Michigan high school students. The high school curriculum will be delivered to interested 8th grade students who would like to work towards completing this graduation requirement while still in middle school. Only 8th grade students will be enrolled in this section of Health Education.
NEW - Digital Media/Art: Students will explore graphic design elements thorugh creating logos, posters, photo editing, and more! In addition, students will utilize the Scratch coding platform for digital story creation!
NEW - Technology: Students will explore how technology is utilized in the real world including improving computer literacy, learning the technology available within Google Suite, and more. While working together, students will practice 21st Century skills, such as communication, collaboration, open-ended research, critical thinking, and problem solving.
NEW - Current Events: Students will use critical thinking skills and participate in discussions designed to help them use a historical perspective when analyzing contemporary issues/events. Students will investigate, discuss, and process current issues/events.
